We spent a lazy Friday afternoon at the Discovery Gateway. We went with Grandpa and Grandma Coombs, Uncle Jason and Aunt Paula, Emma, Aubrey, Grace, Madi, and our little family. The kids were able to explore a beehive, a small town complete with a playhouse, a mini-market, a construction zone, and a farm. We then headed upstairs to the weatherstation, playhouse, art studio, sound booth, and a lot of scientific hands-on displays. The kids had a lot of fun. It was a nice way to spend a hot afternoon.

Hmm, what next?

Bethanie and Aubrey putting the balls down different tubes.

Attempting to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
It has been unanimously decided that the Coombs family has no musical abilities. Our dream of taking it on the road was quickly shot down.

Bethanie lounging in the playhouse.

Kirsten on the mini-sofa.

Bethanie, Madi, and Aubrey grocery shopping.

Aubree and Madi picking out some produce.

Kirsten got a job working at the mini-mart.

Graysen even found a place where he could play.

And explore.

And wander.

This was his favorite.

Not a fan of the slide.

Emma and Kirsten poking their heads out of the branch house.

Giddy-Up cow girls!

Graysen really wanted back out of the stroller.

Kirsten putting her climbing skills to use.

Madi made her way up there too.

Show time!

Now presenting Kirsten as Unicorn! And Madilyn as Leopard!
