"God's purpose for the artist is to inspire, to give us visions of ourselves that we might not see, to make us better than we would have been. The world is better for the arts and righteous artists in it. In the quest to achieve greatness in artistic pursuits--whether in painting, music, dance, drama, film, sculpture, or the written word--we should always seek first to achieve God's purposes." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

Trick or Treat! Smell My Feat?

Halloween started out with a buffet full of the grossest and creepiest foods to die for! On the menu: For starters we had pumpkin throwup with dried bat wings, our main course was Jack-o-lantern Pizza accompanied with Dead Man's Toes Breadsticks (and yes, I died butter to give them this gross coloring.) To wash this all down we had some Witches Brew and then for dessert we had dirt cups with a wiggly worm on top. Mmmm, so delicious!
Then it was time to get the kids in their costumes and hit the pavement! The girls made out like bandits, they got sooo much candy! Graysen was content to sit in the stroller, he loved it. Uncle Paul and Aunt Kara went with us and the girls thought that was awesome! It did seem like there wasn't as many trick-or-treater's out this year. :(

All ready for Trick-Or-Treating!

Ok, this house was AWESOME!!
To the right of the picture notice the netting across the garage?
Well, there was a guy hiding behind it with a GIANT pair of teeth that
he would growl and move them around so it looked like a monster!
Ha! It scared the girls so bad! They still braved that monster
so that they could get some candy. But another little kid got
so scared he started crying. :( (It was awesome!)
It twas a Full Moon last night! OOoooOOOOOooo!
All bundled up.It's a Halloween Miracle! He really can smile!
Trick Or Treat!
They were in such a hurry to get to the next house.
This is serious business.

Hope everybody had a safe and happy Halloween!
Oh smell my feet! Bethanie made me smell her feet when we
were all done trick-or-treating. What the? Where'd she learn that from??

Wow!! Your kids are so lucky to have such a clever mom. I can't believe how gross those toes look and just thinking of those chips as dried bat wings is so creepy! But it looks so yummy! I haven't had dirt cups forever! Glad you and the kiddos had a happy halloween!
