"God's purpose for the artist is to inspire, to give us visions of ourselves that we might not see, to make us better than we would have been. The world is better for the arts and righteous artists in it. In the quest to achieve greatness in artistic pursuits--whether in painting, music, dance, drama, film, sculpture, or the written word--we should always seek first to achieve God's purposes." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

Happy 4th of July!

Kirsten & Bethanie in the tutus I made... Yes, I made them. :) Glad I didn't give up on my search for blue tulle, it totally made the outfit!

I laugh everytime I look at Kirsten's face in this one! She's completely given up trying to keep Graysen by them so I can get a picture. :o)

Not such a great picture, but it's pretty much the only one I got where Graysen isn't running away or struggling to get away.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! That's all I have to say!

Here is my stubborn guy who refused to look at the camera.

Love this one!

I painted their fingernails all sorts of festive.

Dad lighting sparklers for them.

Sparkler time, I didn't get an actual 'good' one of the sparklers though...

And then the BiG fireworks.

The kids loved it!

PS: Cute 'firework' pens that I made. :)

That pic where Kirsten pretty much has Graysen in a headlock is priceless. What a fun little mom you are and the tutu's are so cute!
