"God's purpose for the artist is to inspire, to give us visions of ourselves that we might not see, to make us better than we would have been. The world is better for the arts and righteous artists in it. In the quest to achieve greatness in artistic pursuits--whether in painting, music, dance, drama, film, sculpture, or the written word--we should always seek first to achieve God's purposes." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

Food Storage

I would really, really, really like to begin my food storage! At least 3-months worth to start with. If anybody has any great ideas on how to make this task simple, please let me know! I am clueless and overwhelmed so any thoughts, tips and advice would be wonderful!!

I did a post on my blog for you with the links to stuff we have done in the past.. be patient with it.. and remember it takes a while to get what you want.. but it's nice to "shop" at home!

I'm no pro at it, but we've always hit the case lot sales for fruit, veges, tuna, chili, etc. We also try to buy a little extra peanut butter when it's on sale or we have a coupon because it's good protein. Just keep an eye out for what type of stuff you're looking for when it's on sale and buy a little extra each time.
