"God's purpose for the artist is to inspire, to give us visions of ourselves that we might not see, to make us better than we would have been. The world is better for the arts and righteous artists in it. In the quest to achieve greatness in artistic pursuits--whether in painting, music, dance, drama, film, sculpture, or the written word--we should always seek first to achieve God's purposes." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

FuN aT tHe SpLaSh PaRk!!

Today we surprised the kids with a trip to the splash park. We were so super sneaky, we deserve some sort of reward! We gave them the impression that we were just running to the grocery store.
We had their swimming "soops" packed and ready to go.
We headed to the grocery store and got some food, then got to the park.
Um, there were baby squeals of excitement when we said SURPRISE!
The girls quickly got their swim "soops" on and were ready for some water fun!
Eating Lunch.
Good gosh it's bright out here!
Getting sun block on.
Why is it that kids hate getting sun block on?
Splish! Splash!
Brrrrr! That's kinda cold!

Graysen eye-balling the water.
He's not a fan.
Pick me up mom! This is scary stuff!
After the little pill got soaked, he was ready for some snuggles w/ mom on the bench in the sun.
Taking a break.
Eating cookies.
Graysen devoured many many cookies.
On our way home.
Goofy kids!
The Graysen Point of Awesomeness.
Sleepy lil' guy.
Going. Going. Gone.

This was such a fun family day! The kids loved it, mom and dad loved it. And the best par? FREE! We'll definately be making this a weekly activity, so if you want to join the fun, let me know!
