"God's purpose for the artist is to inspire, to give us visions of ourselves that we might not see, to make us better than we would have been. The world is better for the arts and righteous artists in it. In the quest to achieve greatness in artistic pursuits--whether in painting, music, dance, drama, film, sculpture, or the written word--we should always seek first to achieve God's purposes." -Elder M. Russell Ballard
Remember the little things, because one day you will look back and realize that they were the big things.

Christmas

I've been a bit slow in posting anything from Christmas, and sadly I didn't really take any pictures, what you see here is pretty much it. There are a few blurry ones that have been deleted.
What a Christmas our family was blessed with this year! We had agreed that this year would be humble and that it would be alright. Christmas isn't about how many gifts are under the tree anyways, right?
It was amazing to see how thoughtful so many of our wonderful family and friends thought of us this year! It was so humble to be on the receiving end, usually we are on the giving end.
So to all of those "Secret Santas" out there, and I'm sure you know who you are, thank you for being so thoughtful to our family this year! It's definately true that the Lord answers our prayers through other people being prompted. I hope that I can help to answer other's prayers.
We are looking foward to a brand new year! I wonder what 2010 will show us?
A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Christmas morning, the girls are excited to check out their stockings, but Graysen kept throwing his down. He'll figure it out next year.
Let me see! The girls showing eachother their sweet loot!

Graysen got a few cars in his stocking from Santa, there's that smile every parent expects on Christmas morning!
Kirsten is always ready to strike a pose.
Bethanie and her crazy bed-head hair.
Graysen fell asleep in the car on the way to Grandma Lavonna's house.

All snuggled up to dad waiting patiently to open up his presents.
Grandpa and Grandma Garr and their cute puppy Sophie.
